Community Anchor Sites (CAS) are locations at local nonprofit organizations that provide customized digital support to the local community. CAS’ serve as walk-in centers and host events and programs on digital skills and service navigation among others. In partnership with Connected Dallas and Digital Ambassadors, a Community Anchor Site’s staff are trained to implement the Connected Dallas program at their facility and hold programs weekly that are supported by Digital Ambassadors and facilitators. Sites are provided with a monthly stipend to support operations, and the facility will be outfitted with the resources and technology necessary to provide services to residents.
